2 Pics, 2 Questions

Pic 1 - Light pink in color. When light is shined onto it, it "creeps" back into the rock. Has anyone seen this before?
Pic 2 - Some sort of crystals showed up on this piece of "dead" rock. Thinking maybe some sort of snail eggs but don't really know.

Could the pink one be some sort of sponge?

tell you the truth i never seen the first pic before. have no clue what it is. as for the second its a lil blurry for me. but i will try agian

The first one look like a closed up polyp, the second look's like you have snail eggs.
