2 pipefish together

i just bought another pipefish this is a banded, and the other is a many-banded the one in the tank already is chasing and fighting the new one, is this normal like when any new fish is added or will they fight, i looked it up and it says they should be ok together. not sure if i should take it back or not..any help????

I have 2 of the same kind in my dwarf tank and they get along fine. I hope everything worked out for the best!

well i took the other back that evening i didnt want it to die, and i have done more research and haven't found anything concrete

I would have done the same thing.
Like I mentioned mine arrived together and have become buds.....maybe yours has dcecided he doesnt want a roomy......or maybe find one just like him and see if that works....good luck either way
