#1 having problems getting the suction cups on my power heads to stay sucked on to the tank
#2 depth on of crushed coral or livesand in tank??

1 spit on the suction cup
2 mine is between 3 and 4 inches

Make sure your glass is clean.
4 to 6 inches for a dsb

well the suction cups stay on 2 3 4 days glass is clean and then one day i cone in and the powerhead has fallen

Do the powerheads you have come with a clamp to hang them them on the rim of the tank?

Get new suction cups, unless they are brand new, then return the powerhead.
