2 Skimmers?

Can I run 2 skimmers for a while? At least until my water clears back up? I've had alot of issues this week but to make a long story shorter, I purchased an Aqua C Ramora Pro Skimmer yesterday and 2-110 (1 Actinic/1VHO) lights...put them on the tank.....did a 30% water change today ....didn't put any stress coat in the water (as instructed by the Aqua C instruction guide) and now after 10 hours ... my water is cloudy, my parameters remain stable, and I have to dump the collection cup every 1 hour or it's going to ruin my carpet. My other skimmer was the cheap one that came with our tank .... but it was working...it kept our water clearer than this and I am frustrated.....any suggestions??

oh yes, I had my water tested by lfs yesterday too and they advised all levels were in line and water should be clear too but it's not yet so anyway, just thought that might help.

Stress coat will drive your skimmer crazy, as will some other additives.

you should set our collection cup high on your skimmer it will give you some more time befor thing start to overflow, the remora takes a good week to break in. to get your water clear you should try running some carbon.

Thanks...went ahead and started the other skimmer last night.....we will quit using the stress coat now that we have the remora but the lfs is who told us to add it to the water to keep it clear, but obviously it takes more than that! anyway, my old skimmer has a charcoal filter so I will run them together for a few days and see what happens since my water is still a little cloudy (like when you look down the sides of the tank)! Thanks for your replies! Appreciate any input.....we had a long week last week if you read any of my other posts and I am just trying to get back to "normal"...
