is 65 watts good for a 20 gallon long it is only 12 inches high that why i wondered if i could use less lighting

yes i plan to keep corals it will be a reef tank, they are pc

i have a 20 gallon long reef tank. i have a 2 x 65 watt pc and i wouldnt recomend anything less than what i have and i keep various softies and lps corals. if you go with just 65 watt it would have to be low light corals,thats just my opinion. do you already have the light ?

yea is there any way to get a strong enough light with out having to buy a new fixture

if there is i honestly dont know. how much did you pay for it. if you think about getting rid of it i am looking for a 65 watt pc light for my 20 gallon long fresh water planted tank. i will be getting rid of my 2 x 65 watt pc light to upgrade to a MH kit but i am not sure when i will be able to do that.

i only payed 109.00 dollars so i might just buy another kit so it would be 2x65

what brand is it. i know of a place where you can get a Coralife 1 x 65 watt for $56 plus shipping.
