20 gal tank

sure- it is torn down now im converting it to a 20 gallon long- but it has 4 32Watt PC blubs- about 20 LBS of fiji spiney branch rock and a ton of corals- no skimmer and bimonthly waterchanges

my 20g only 4 months old....i need to get an updated pic of about $200 more coral and 3 months older

j21kickster............how did you go about setting up your tank, what did you first put into your tank and what equipment did you use........it looks great!!

First went in my rock and sand- i used an eheim canister filter that is rated for 60 gallons but i think it is more like 30 gallons. I ended up tearing that tank down b/c the substrate was too corarse for how deep it was and i was getting a LOT of buildup despite reduced feeding and a large claenup crew- but i have since switched it all to a 20- gallon long and im making awesome progress from there

are 20 gal tanks too small for a pair of clown fish? i am getting a little worried now....i keep seeing all these things that say you should have atleast a 30 gal tank!! oh no!

they will be fine for a year or tow but they will get big....not as big as atag or a grouper but two fully grown clowns could be to big for a 20

heyjugger what is that redish coral on the left hand side of yr tank? 1 is opened and 2 are closed.
