20 Gal Woes

Hey guys, I just got a brand new tank from my brother, He made it sound like at least a 50 gallon tank, but now that I have it it's only 20 gallons. I need help! Can I support a reef with a 20 gallon tank? Do I need a sump still? Anyway, now that I have a 20 gal tank, I guess I am going to be hanging out in the nano tank section a lot!

Nice to see another 20gal going, but I find this section of the forun tends to have a slower response rate. Some general questions maybe you can ask in the other sections. Specific ones maybe you can leave it here. I too have a 20gal nano and I have a "kinda" above tank fuge to increase my total volume of water.

Do a search for Overanalyzer's 20 gallon - I had a reef in a 20 I also had a mini lagoon in it for a while.
Do some searches specifically on this forum and then 20 gallons - I know several accomplished reefers here in nano land have 20 gallons and have given great advice about it!!
My best advice right now is for you to search and research and read and absorb ....take your time - as it sounds like your money is going to be tight - which takes even more planning up front .... plus it allows you to save the $$
