Depends on what you want to do with it . . . a 20 is going to prove to be more difficult than your 75 as well.
Whats wrong with the 75?
As for filtering the 20, LS, and LR is all you need . . . skimmer is optional (again depending on what you want to do with the tank)

I agree with Mr. Bond, skimmer on a 20 with a sufficient amount of LR and LS is optional depending on what you want to do with it. Is it going to be fish only or are you wanting to have a reef with fish?
I would steer clear of any type of mechanical filtration. These can cause parameter problems if not watched closely and properly maintained. Skimmers are definately recommended but on a nano with a slight bio-load it is not needed.

I want to have both.it is going to be right next to me when I am on the computer.why will it be more work. the 75 is fine that is my dinner piece.so no other filter would be needed.what kind of water changes would you do. how much lr,sand andlife is needed.

do a search for 20 gallon tanks here ins the nano section - lots of info and lots of posts of people who have them. I think the 20 is pretty easy once you get it stablized.... the key is regular water quality checks and water changes .... I have a 20 and when it was a nano reef it got a 2-4 gallon water change every 3-4 weeks.

Its not going to be more work . . . . its going to be more difficult. Things get out of hand much much faster in a nano reef.
As suggested, do some searching on here for tanks in the 20 gallon range and see what other people are running. That should give you all the information you need to get one started.
