I want a pretty good plan out on one of these.
So far ive narrowed the tank down to TWO possible ideas (other ideas accepted)
Door #1 a reef tank with live rock and corals. Maybe some clownfish?.Inverts 2
Door #2 A Fu Manchu lionfish with maybe LR or corals and stuff not sure of this fish's behavior
I would lke amounts of stuff needed. Also wattage of light?

i think that your lionfish would outgrow that tank. imo, i would stick w/ the smallest things you could find to put into a 20g tank. if you would like, you can see my 20g in the photo section. i'm the 1 w/ the poll. even if the lionfish doesnt outgown the tank, it will try to put whatever it can fit into its mouth--just something to think about.

oh, if you only do a fowlr and invert setup you can use just a 15watt bulb. nothing in there will have a lighting requirement.

With the lion?? u mean ^ or do you mean with the invert tank. i might go with the inverts but I want to know what inverts can go in.

i have a 20 reef, and i love it. corals are so cool, although more expensive they are fun to watch and look at

20 long, 10 sump/fuge (right now only live rock in the fuge but i plan on getting some light and macro algae
the two are connected by 3/4" pvc (drilled the glass)...
2X65 watt pc and diy led moonlight all on timers
excalibur protein skimmer
mag3 for tank-sump circulation and output with mag3 closed loop for the tank
penguin mini with biowheel
inverts:
green bta
coral banded shrimp
2 turbo's
various hermits
pistol shrimp
corals:
yellow polyps
orange and green zoo's
green and brown zoo's
gsp
candy canes
various shrooms
green button
frogspawn
pulsing xenia
silver xenia
...more to come
ive lost track of how much sand and rock i have but you see...
i do 25% water changes every sunday....with RODI and Oceanic

sorry....right now i have a gold striped maroon clown and a yellow watchman goby....i am planning on getting rid of the clown(too mean) and getting a timor wrasse and randall goby

That is AWESOME. I actually really like that alot. Maybe I could put off the lionfish until christmas or something when I could get a bigger one. I have a 20 long too
