yup still a nano! ya the more LR the better.. if all the rock in there is live rock, then you would get away with just adding some base rock to it to keep costs down. that's what i did I started with about 15lbs of base rock and only 5 lbs maybe of LR.. now all my rock is becoming live

depends on where you go for your base rock.. some places will make it look like fiji live rock some are just basic and simple. I mean if you have the $$$ then just get more LR.. but if your on a tight budget like a bunch of us here.. then base rock is an option

did you actually weigh it? that doesn't look like 15lbs to me. craigs list and other local forums has liverock for sometimes as low as $1-$2/lb.

yeah i weighed it at the LPS and at home it was actualy 16 lbs. Paid like 7 a pound for it not much of a selection and price in south carolina.

nice start so far...one thing I didin't do in the beginning of my tank was think of aquascaping when buying the LR. You can smash, chisel and break the rock apart to make a better "look" if you want. Just a thought as nobody at my LFS made that suggestion to me.
