20 long and 250watt 20k

I was thinking on puting together a 20 long with a 250 watt pendant reef tank? would this be too much light because the 20 k is mucho blue and is a little dimmer......am i right? i want sps in there as well as rics and blasto, zoos, mushshrooms.

not too much light id even consider running a Phoenix 14k by itself in a pendant about 10" off the water make sure to keep temp in check

I have a DE HQI 150 on a 20 long and can grow anything in it, clams included.

your definetly going to need a chiller with that light. i have a 250w mh on my 30 gallon and the temp reaches like 84 in the summer without a chiller. lights on mine are about 7 inches above the tank.
