picked up a temporary filter. a tetra whisper ex20 so far its working okay
i know its ALOT of rock i just threw in everything i had with a few pieces of liverock..once it clears i will aqua scape it and take out what i dont need

I would add a aquaclear 110, and a aquaclear 70. In the 70 I would put chemipure and purigen. In the 110, I would put chaeto and a light to act as a refugium. You can put chaeto back there and it will really help to remove nitrates and other nutrients from your tank. I think that the amount of rock you have in there is good, just needs to be aquascaped when it clears up

Is it possible to take the filter you have now and just put the purigen and chemi-pure in there?

aquascaping is awesome the shroom may survive, but no telling. I had one in my tank that I got as a hitchiker, and its still alive
good work!
Oh yeah. those lights are rad, I need to get some of those for my twenty long...

tank is doing good mushroom pulled threw and is doing great
got a new project to work on now

my 100gl nano

cant wait to set it up iv always had a nano time to try out the big boys
