Hey Ren, a buddy of mine that lives in Laughlin, NV, says his pool is Saltwater. Not REALLY salty, but it's salt and not chlorine. It's better for your skin. He says he never has algae. I know it's in the desert. LOTS of good sunlight.....hot. If you want, I can ask him what else he puts into it.

That is a sweet idea. You just gave me something to daydream about for the rest of the night. How many pounds of LR do you think you would need. You would have to build a shed in the back yard to keep the wet/dry or whatever in. Think of the size of that protein skimmer!! What would you stock it with?
