Anyone run Coralife 20000K T8 18 inch 15 watt with their Actinic 03? I've been trying new light spectrums, 18,000, 50/50 (6000K and Actinic 03), at the moment 20000K and Actinic 03 (Coralife). I see what they mean its a bright blue and white day light bulb, no one is selling new 50/50 with 10000K and Actinic 03. So I put Coralife mini reef light on back bottom under Prizm skimmer, two six watt mini lights both Actinic 03, suspended T8 15 watt 18 inch 20000K and Actinic 03 (20K back, Actinic 03 front) in combination it has a nice white and blue color. 10 gallon 1/2 circle is just for trying to grow purple coralline algae rapidly, and supporting mushroom corals. To access the tank I had to suspend lights eight inches above it. I just used toggle bolts, added a small washer, and plastic string these use for hanging pictures and mirrors. The Prizm skimmer takes some of the top space so you can't have two light fixtures (20 inch) with T8 on a 1/2 moon 10 gallon tank with out suspended them.
I put Actinic 03 (blue) lights on for 14 hours, 12 hours of 20000K (blue/white), with 50/50 and 20000K without UV, it seemed like I would be growing micro algae even with phosphates and nitrates being undectable. 20K did not look blue enough without Actinic 03, 50/50 seemed too dark with Actinic 03.

Emits a bright, blue-white light. Similar to a 10,000°K bulb but the higher peak in the blue region for bluer light that penetrates deeper into the aquarium.

Well, a turbo snail and his partner a hermit crab cleaned the green coralline off the bottom of bare bottom tank and cleaned the life rock in one night, 8 hours into 20000K and Actinic 03 lighting, its covered in red coralline algae. Progress? Ahh I want purple and pink, the live rock with coralline is purple, pink, and lime green with high flow, chemistry, and favoring blue light. It’s never going to turn another color on the bottom, perhaps, it seeds the live rock. The coralline does seem to be layers or thicker on the live rock. What is more interesting the two of these cleaners seem to be working together, even staying in the same spot during the day, not moving because the triggerfish thinks they are lunch!
