(hydrometer in pic is broken - its not at what its pointing to. Just havent taken it out yet. Tested it with 2 other hydrometers, because after i made the water, and i put in almost a whole bucket of salt, the darn piece would only float up a tad. so i tested it with another hydrometer that i have and a friends.)

That's going to be a pretty sweet set up...uh, you realize you have way too many fish in that first pic, right?

Haha...keep us posted on your progress.

Yah - Thats why you see the other pics with no fish, they all died off. The Ammonia spike was off the charts!!!!

I have a suggestion to you.
you need to get rid of that piece of crappy hydrometer and do your tank a favor and go get a refractometer.
It only costs you once and you will save your entire tank.
I made a big mistake using that same piece of crap and ended up killing my Xenia and expensive blue tang cuz that piece of crap read 1.024 and when my refrac. came, it read 1.030.

I have an Americle wet/dry filter w/ the two skimmers in the sump.
Not sure what type of pump as i got it used but its external.
As you can see in the 1st pic, i have to pipes going out to the sump and the whole in the middle is the return.
I am running an AquaClear Powerhead 110 (900gph) in the left hand corner of the tank. i have 2 Powersweep 228 powerhead, though i only have 1 in right now, thats the one on the right. and i have the powerhead thats sitting on the antlers but dont know what its rated.

Yah, its crap, i had posted that its broken and never took it out.
Have another hydrometer that works (unless you say no hydrometer "realy" works
).
I know i have to get a refractometer....... one day soon.
though this is a FO, i had gotten a 90g Reef from someone, and that i should really be using a refractometer. He had used a hydrometer and all his stuff did well.
see here:

I've spent about 5K into my 55g reef and the only thing I regret was to have used and trusted the hydrometer.
It's really up to you, but my 2 cents is except for the professional ones, no hydrometer sold at lfs be trusted.
