I have a 48 gallon flat hex about 30in deep. Would 225 watts be enough for several sea anemones and live rock and maybe some coral to live? i'm thinking about using 50/50 75watts, 10,000k 75 watts, and actinic 75 watts all the bulbs are 24in. in length. i'm looking for any suggestions as long as they are 24 in lenght.

I am running a single 250w MH 12k on my 35g hex and is pretty bright . yours would be around 4.6 w per gallon .
IMO would be run 1 MH 250w .
any pics of your tank ?
