230/180 oak stand almost complete

Here are a few pic of the oak stand I'm building, It needs another two coats of poly, than I will install the pewter hardware as well as a timer bar and three computer fans in the canopy.

I build the stands for the LFS, So it depends on what the customer wants, I have retro fit 400 watt MH in my canopy and it is the same height

Ya I can, thats why I install the fans, and they work fine. Usually from the time my lights come on to when they go out my temp will rise about 1.5 - 2 deg

looks sweet you might want to slap a coat of poly on the underside of the top to keep it from going black from splashes when you put the other coats on the outside.

how far along are you on that stand for the 560? I heard it was fun putting in the store.

Hows your setup coming along, Do you have it full yet? are you running some kind of wave maker in there?

no wavemaker but its all filled and got rock in it i updated the thread not to long ago in the reef threads
