24 aquapod stand

Would i need a stand for a 24 gallon aquapod or would it be ok on a desk? aprox. how much would a 24 gallon aquapod weigh when it is filled with water, sand, live rock, corals, fish?

just know if you get the stand for the aquapod 24 the directions are not the best.
