hey everyone long time no post.
My JBJ has been up for about 8 months now and here is my stock and a few pics.
Fish:
1 Royal Gramma
1 Blue Damsel
1 Scissortale Goby (just added today...follow up question coming)
Coral:
Pulsing Xenia
Green Mushroom
Green Hammer Coral
Some tiny Polyps that got covered by hair algae and only a few left :(
I took these pictures right when my tank came on so my Hammer Coral isn't completely opened up yet....my bad..it gets really big when it's fully open.
My question is this: I added my goby today and he darted into a dime sized hole in one of my rocks and never came out...thing is I don't think there is another side to the hole and if there is it's blocked by the sand cause the rock is at the bottom of my tank. What should I do ? Is there any way to get him out or will he come out ? I hope I don't have to take apart my rock structure and shake that rock till he comes out lol. He's such a cool looking dude too!

just give it sometime to acclimate in your tank. my purple firefish was like that for almost a week. never came out and finally it came out to eat when i fed my fish one day. are you going to do something about that algae or are you just going to leave it?

Yup the algae is getting eaten as we speak, since that pic i dumped 5 mexican turbo grazers and there is around 8 red leg hermits in there. I wanted to get a lawnmower blenny so bad but the LFS guy told me he would eat himself out of a job so I didn't get one.

not many creatures I know of will touch the cyanobacteria you have in there (redslime) that stuff is usually caused by excess phosphate, either in the makeupwater or fish food.
