Ok still haven't set up my system yet. (in shipping) How do I set up a refugium in the back portions of the JBJ 24 gallon nanocube. Do I do it while its cycling? is the filtration that comes with the system ok (HOw much better would the fuge be?) Do i still get the nano fusion skimmer to put in one of the other parts in the back? Also what and where do I get a HYDOR FLOW and how hard is it to put on.
Well sorry for all the ?'s. I just really want to do it right the first tiem
Also Is a 2" better or would it be better to try to get 3" or 4" sandbed in main tank? and for this how much LS is needed?
Specifically how good is the lighting for most corals (for those of you who own one?)

well i know alot of ppl take out the bio balls, the sponge filters in back. and i one chamber put live rock rubble, and in another chamber put is some type of chemical filtration like activated carbon or purigen. and for the 3rd chamber yes i would put a fission skimmer in. it never hurts to have too much filtration.
the hydor flows, i can tell you where to get them, but i am not allowed to post links to competitors sites. just do a google search for it, and you will find plenty of online vendors that carry them.
as for the stock lighting and the corals you can keep, i dont know. cuz i do not own a nano. mine is still waiting to be shipped. but i would probably say if you have 4 WPG u can keep shrooms, zo's, some LPS, GSP, and other low to medium light corals. i know the nano i am waiting on the stock lighting is 2x27w for 54w and gives me 4.5WPG. but they are easily modded with retro fit kits to give you more lighting power.

if you want a fuge in the back with macro algae and cheato you would need some light in the back. the hydro flo i have never tried and you could just find in almost any online store or at your lfs. the lighting is good for most soft corals like mushrooms, zoos, some leathers like toadstools, and any kind polyps
