It is hard to say because the aquapod is a new product, but current USA has a good rep and with all of the issues the nanocubes have I would think they tested these things forward and back. 24 gallons is not big enough for a mandarin, it will starve. Even in a well established 24 there won't be enough pods for it to eat. JMO!

yea as jacksdad said the nanocubes have a rep for breaking(cracking).i would go with the aquapod rather than the JBJ just becuase theyd probably wanna be better than JBJ and make sure there glass doesnt crack.
i also agree the 24 will be to small for the mandarin(they eat all day long).but there are tons of other fish for your tank.

i feel this is wrong, the Aquapods lighting, and filtration is blowing away even the new JBJ nanos. im hearing in the new aquapods you will be able to fit 192w of PC lighting into that baby. and also a MH retro fit will fit. so u are looking at some good possiblities with the Current USA nanos.

As devilboy said the aquapod lighting can be upgraded just as the nanocube, if not more. As far as filtratuon is concerned, most people remove the carbon and bio balls anyway so I think that is a push.
The overriding factor in my mind is the cracking issue. Why spend your time and energy creating a reef just to come home and find 12 gallons of water on the floor and a bunch of dead fish and coral.
I don't mean to flame your idea, we just disagree.

i agree with jacksdad, as for the aquapods cracking, i dont think they will these nanos were suppose to be released a few months ago and they have being delaying the ship dates to make sure these things go thru every possible test Current USA can put them thru and are holding up to the standards of Current USA. i placed my order a long time ago for the aquapod nano and still have not received a ship date. the last time i heard was 12/2 but they have pushed it back again to 12/8 so hopefully this week i will be receiving a tracking number in my email.......
