I posted these in the nano forum, but just wanted to throw em on here too. This is my new order that came from swf.com today, about an hour ago. Awesome rics and yumas...got some snails and a pygmy angel also, but he is hiding...LOL
no, rics and yumas do not need halides. As a matter of fact, when I had halides on my 180 , I had to keep the rics low in the tank or they got bleached out on me.

i dont know much about the lights, do does ones fit in a normal light strip? and are they alot of money?

you have to get a new fixture that fits your tank. power compacts or t-5 , either one will come in a fixture that sits on your tank frame. and either one will work for low light corals.
