Alright so I am by no means a new member to SWF my old username was S0VIETTAC0.

I've been away from the hobby for about half a year, I sort of gave up on salt water stuff for various reasons which I won't get into here, but I've got the itch again and I'm back.
Now the question I have is for people who have LED systems (I have yet to own one, I originally ran stock PCs), I'm in the market for an LED fixture and am lookin at two right now. The real differences IMO come down to specific controlabilty and whether that is something I want or not. With Illumina I know I will have an amazing fixture, but the jury is still out on the JBJ Unibody. So your input is invaluable to me.
With the JBJ Unibody I have minor control in terms of dimming, I do not believe they have some sort of program for the fixture so this is something that I would have to manually set and there would be no automatic night setting. Here are the specs for the fixture and video.
"JBJ Unibody LED Fixtures

As for the Vertex Illumina SR260 1ft fixture this thin is loaded with amazing features but it's about double the price. Here are the specs and vid.

So what do you guys think? I'm leaning more towards the Illumina because of the features and the ability to upgrade to a better tank in the future and having this go with it.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

Hey Rob,
I watched the JBJ video and some of the Vertex one (that is a long baby... I will wait to watch the whole thing until I am at work. LOL). I agree that the Vertex is a better fixture and has a lot more as far as what you can do with them. The JBJ is a good little light. I like that fact that it is dimmable (somewhat) and I like the price.
On your other thread you said that you were looking to keep some LPS and the like. I think that the JBJ will meet the light needs for the corals you want to keep (same as the Vertex), but is a lot cheaper. But if you really want the controlability and don't mind spending the extra dough go the Vertex.
It kinda sounds like you are already half way there to the Vertex. If you can swing it go for it.
