24g stocking

I have a 95gal FOWLR...I wanted to turn that reef but it would be about 2k to do it. I'm now looking at a 24gal nano. In my 95 right now are a blue spot jawifish, 2 ocellaris clowns, and a royal gramma. Could I put these into a 24 gallon. I would also put in a cleanershrimp, some nassarius snails, a turbo or two and 15 crabs. My other question if I take sand,water and rock out of my 95 into the 24 will the tank need to recycle? I'm trying to convince my parents to let me do this because this way I can also take the tank to college. I'm looking at the 24gal JBJ deluxe. I think I could do this for under 300$ because all I need is the tank and heater, I also have LR, sand, water, and fish to go in. Any help would be great for a nano noob

Hard to say...I think the two clowns and the royal gramma might be ok...however I am not sure about the jawfish. You might be able to pull it off, however how happy will they be moving from a 95 gallon penthouse to a 24 gallon 1 bedroom apt with no windows...who knows??

if you put it in that term most fish we get come from the ocean. So they come from a trillion gallon tank to out small 100gallon tank?

If you use your existing stuff I believe you will not have to go through any spike, cause you are useing all your benificial bacteria that you already established! If any it would be VERY slight...... Three hundred is a good number ..... if you don't need any water sand or LR. But as mentioned before you are ok with the Clowns and the Royal Grama.......That Jaw Fish IMO will push you over the edge!

my jaw has actually been getting the crap kicked out of him by my gramma, theres a chance he may die if I can't catch the gramma...the jawfish was also so much money 175$
