250 watts of MH on 90 enough for seabe??

Is 500 watts MH on a 90 enough light? my tank has benn set up like 6 months, water is PERFECT. also i will be moving in about 4-6 months would it be hardy enough to move? Also i heard they like to live in the sand right? thanks Connor

that is plenty enough of lighting for him but do concider additional lighting suppliments such as pc or VHO to lesson your utility useage and a wider range of lighting choice suited for time of day.my sebae is perched on the top of my rocks about 6-8 inches from water surface in a moderate water flo(loves the hydroflo powerhead attachment) my lighting consist of 3 400 w MH and 4 110 VHO but I have a much deeper larger tank

Lighting looks plenty good, I use 2-250 watt MH bulbs and 440 watt VHO on a 90, and a sebae can find happiness in sand or rocks.

no it wont harm the corals unless it decided to plant itself on one. thats not normally an issue most coral are also stinging celled organizms they dont appreciate being sat on and can show it lol

really what about sps? they dont have any stinging cells
