Sorry no pics but I have seen a 26 gal bow front with the new Nova sundials on it. 4x24watt HO-T5 lights, very very nice set up and at 26gals you are unlimited to what you can hold in it.

I've got a 20 I want to upgrade and i need help too. I'm considering the Coralife Lunar Aqualight (T-5). I'm confused too about what to cover the tank with. I do not want to leave the tank open. I thought about just a glass lid. Is this what you are thinking of doing? I'd also like to see pics of any smaller tanks that have these lights set-up.

If you want to cover the tank... (not necessary) but if in fact you do you can get a piece of plexiglass cut to the size you want. Even leave out the area that the light will be over.
IMO I would stay away from anything coralife sells as far as lighting goes. If you are considering t-5 lighting bare minimum would be the Nova Extreme HO-T5 set up I mentioned above. Aquatinics, and teks are much better but you pay a lot more for them so depending on your budget those are what I would suggest.

Thanks for the advice. I'm just really concerned about leaving the tank open on the top. I have 3 dogs and I vacuum non-stop, so I'm worried dog hair may fly in there everytime I vacuum! Is it OK to cover the area that the light will be over?
The reason why I chose Coralife is because my Mother works for a pet distribution warehouse and they sell Coralife. I can get it pretty cheap. They don't sell the Novas.
Thanks!

Yes it is ok to cover the are the lights are over or around them your choice.
Well I understand it would be a cheap investment, but as an FYI their products are not made well their T5's are not HO and they dont offer any fixture with individual reflectors... IMO unless they were free I wouldnt buy them....

Thanks again for the advice. I think I'll do more research before I decide which lights to buy. I'm glad you told me what you did about the Coralife!
