280 tank stand

Looks good but thats a small pic. It looks kind of tall. How tall is the stand and how tall is the tank? :thinking:

dogstar, ill try enlarging the picture. see how i go. the length is 8 foot x 2x 2½ foot.(deep)
to flap doors above, plus a fix panel vented with fans, below: sump, r.o. container,float etc
5xdoors grilled for vent. will have drilled tank for water changes with tap, 1200 lts of salt water tank outside the house plummed into sump for filling.

Still hard to tell the hiegth of the stand. Just looks to tall. Not sure but if it is, that makes it hard to get a full veiw when sittng or shorter ppl. and allways seeing the surface more than the bottom of the tank. I hope not though. Plus if too tall gets real hard for sevicing like cleaning and feeding and always haveing to stand on a ladder or step. Is it wood and what size are the boards ? Looks like it may not be strong enough but not sure. I think 1 gl. is 8 lbs. plus hood and tank.

dogstar, its a timber frame of 90mm x 35mm, no hood, it will have a frame fixed to the wall that will support the 3 metal h. and 2 x fluros fans, and flap doors. above these doors will be a fixed panel vented and another 2 fans built in. i will post pictures as the rest of the goodies arrive. (have to cut the carpet now) the wife will kill me! so if u dont see any further posts , you know what happend!!!!!!!!!!!
