Inhabitants:
10-20lbs Live rock
hermit/snail cleaning crew
1 Md Yellow Tang
1 SM Sergeant Major Damsel
2 Clarkii clowns
1 scotter blenny
1 White Sebae Anenome
4 Flame Scallops
Water Conditions:
Temp 80-84
PH 8.0-8.3
Ammonia 0 - .1 ppm
Nitrite 0 - .05 ppm
Nitrate 20 - 30 ppm
Spec Grav 1.023
Phosphates 0 - 3ppm!!!
General Conditions:
Everything seems happy
Algae not a problem
Thoughts???
Nitrates/Phosphates from the UG???
Remove or just quit using?????
Add wet/dry trickle????
different skimmer???
Using tap water for top offs and water changes. Can't afford RO unit right now, tap water tests ZERO phosphates before salt, not sure about after. Using Instant Ocean.
Want to keep this tank going good and would like to venture into some low-light corals and sponges.
