are the rocks in the back left corner of ur tank against the glass? if they are, is that safe? i always wanted to stack my rocks high like that, but was scared to lean them on the glass, mine are all centered in the miiddle of the tank and go long ways. just wondering thanks :D

What kind of lighting do you have? What is the lighting requirement for the kinds of corals you have? excuse the questions...I am a newbie; and trying to understand a few things such as lighting and corals. I am trying to get the money together to complete my tank...I have a 75g and just recently had a stand and hood built; but I may need to re-do the hood if I get MH lighting instead of the original PC. Sorry for the long explanation. :)

I have 300w of VHO (4 24 inch bulbs). I have LPS type corals ( you can search for more info ) and zoanthids and mushrooms. They all seem to be doing well. I have no interest at this time in SPS type corals like Acropora spp. so I am not worrying about MH.
Sorry my response took so long getit.

I HAD 2 maxi-jet 1200's moving the water in there. Now I have a closed loop system powered by a Blue Line 30 pump and passing thru a chiller on the way back to the tank. My return is split in two with a SCWD, alternating the current from left to right. I also have an aquaclear 50 filter running just socks of carbon and a AquaC Remora protein skimmer.
