29 gallon & lion

I have a 29 gallon eclips tank with a voltin lion and was wondering how many outher fish I could put in there. I was thinking of mabye a clown trigger, queen angel, or puffer

Sorry to break the news to you but the lion you have is going to be too big for your tank. Volitans can grow to 16". <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
All the fish you mentioned will be too big for the tank also.

Oh geez I wouldnt put another fish in there at all! Let alone the Lion!! The lion might actually get sick because hes going to eventually get stressed becaue of the size of the tank and the size he can grow to.. you should get a bigger tank a 45 at LEAST!

You need to find out how big the fish you are going to buy will get when full grown before you buy them. Every fish you listed would never fit by them self in a tank that size. Alot of people make the same mistake. Remember the best rule of thumb is 1 in per 5 gals full grown, now if you are plaining to upgrade to a large tank very soon you might be able to keep the lion for a short time.
