29 gallon stocking

whats the largest most aggressive fish that would thrive in a 30 gal tank. not really into nanos but i got a 29 with all the fixins for free from a friend who is always upgrading and can never find anyone to buy or trade his old stuff.

Fuzzy dwarf lionfish get kinda big but stay small.

A warty skinned frogfish will probably be fine in a 30 gallon. They look really cool, and will eat anything that they can manage to fit into their huge mouths. They are a big pricey, but very colorful. There are other species of frog fish that would work as well.
Also look into the Sargassum(sp?) angler. They are a mean looking fish and stay small enough to work out in a 29. They remind me a lot of a lion.
The clubbing species of mantis shrimp are the ones that typically stay smaller. They are all probably capable of breaking your tank. I would imagine it is a very rare occurence, but a risk none the less. A lot of the peacocks are absolutely beautiful as well as deadly.

Or, if you really want to press your luck, just get yourself a blue-ring. I am still trying to decide what size of tank i want for one. Had one in front of me 4 yrs ago,but due to not having a place to put him at the time, I decided to pas it up. And now everytime i see it on the list, i think about what size of tank i want for him.
