w/ a tank that small ur choices r limited, maybe like a fu manchu lion or some other type of dwarf lion, if ur willing to spend an easy $400 a golden dwarf eel mite make a nice addition.

A 29 is really kinda small for most aggressive fish so yes you are really limited as to what you could keep. but a 29 would make a nice home for a angler.

ok i have a list from a reliable source:
leaf fish
rogue/sailfin scorpionfish
gumdrop coral croucher
harlequin bass
longnose hawkfish
flame hawkfish
dwarf lions (antennata, radiata, fuzzy dwarf, dwarf zebra, fu manchu)
golden dwarf eel
spaghetti eel
saddled valantini puffer
anglers
maroon clowns
keep in mind most of these fish would have to be the only fish in ur tank aside from the gumdrop coral croucher and anglers, the gumdrop coral croucher needs 10gal and the anglers need 20 so u could put one of each in there, just a suggestion

Coral Croucher would be eaten by the Angler in no time.
An angler would rock though. I'm going to get one for my 75 aggressive reef.

dude coral croucher is a type of scorpionfish, i doubt he would get eaten by the angler, i would want like a sargassumfish, the colored angler just looks kinda like a model after too many surgeries, manmade. the sargassum and wartskin r pretty cool lookin.

Anglers will eat Lionfish too. Venomous spines do not repel all predators. They just eat them head first so the spines fold back away from their mouth. Seriously.

I don't think that would be too cramped. They are both lazy perching fish. Just my 2 cents though.

You may start with Ghost Shrimp, mine likes them a lot, but I got him to eating frozen Krill now. Silversides might be too big until it grows a few inches. Unless you can convince him to eat chopped up ones.
