Looking at buying a 29g eclipse. Was curious what people thought about putting a flame angle in the tank with some LR and LS and some upgraded lighting?
Also if that seems to be ok what else other fish if any could work with this setup?

just buy a regular 29= eclipse tanks are about worthless- you can do a flame in a 29- they have been known to pick onj clams ans some corals- but that isnt 100%

Why are the eclipse tanks worthless, I thought it would be nice and easy to have the filter and everything all in one?

I dont have a whole lot of experience with the eclipse systems, but I think that the filtration is pretty much useless for a saltwater tank. I think that you would find that it would be an easy way to get things up and running, but after you get more into it, you would want a little more filtration, and with the eclipse systems, it can be difficult to upgrade. Ask around here, there are bound to be people that have used them.
