Man every time I try to post them my internet goes to crap. I guess that is the price of being stationed in Oklahoma and living in the country. I am going to get them up though! I have noticed lots of sponge type material that is dead and swaying in the current as well as meaty type substances on the top. I will get those pics as soon as I can. I have them on my cell phone (taken with a regular camera) now I have to try and get them on here.

Time my friend. Just like you were not impressed with the rock at first. Takes some time to adjust and show you its real stuff!!

looking good so far. I would either push those rocks down to the glass, or pick up a couple of pieces of base rock. If you get any kind of digging fish, you could have a rock slide.

I got the rock from here so I didn't get to hand pick it. I pushed the rock around and it doesn't budge. But you think I should move it to one side or the other?

I'd get them away from the back of the glass. They look like good base rock though.
If it were my tank I'd use them as a start for a horseshoe shape in the middle. Then later down the line get smaller rocks or just corals on rocks.
I have the same tank as you, what are you running for filtration?

See I thought the same thing "base rock". I bought that stuff from here and paid 129.00 bucks plus shipping for it. There is absolutely no coraline coverage at all. I was extremely disappointed at the quality of this rock! I am just running the live rock with an eheim 2222 and it just has the little porcelain things in it.
