I've had my female clown for 8 or 9 years now. She for some reason has been through about 4 mates. This is her second mate she spawns with. Last time she did this was 5 years ago. Last week I noticed eggs that where almost ready to hatch. I had no idea they did this because they were covered by the anemone. And today is the day they did it a second time. I believe it's all up to the female to spawn because it's hard enough to pair up clown fish and I've managed to have it happen again with her. Does anyone know if there is an age limit to where a clownfish can't spawn anymore. When we got her, she was pretty big and we've had her 9 years. I thought she's be too old.
