3" Blonde Naso For Sale

Anyone want to buy a 3" Blonde Naso?
yeloek9@netscape.net
Too big for my tank, I don't want him to get all stressed and die. I bought him from a well respected LFS, they DO NOT use copper! Original purchase price was $69.99
Will let go for $50
Bay Area Cali
Will deliver if within 100 miles

SOLD... to my freind Mike. It's so cool that I sold it to him, at least I can still go visit him. Anyway, with the new cashflow I went and acquired a Mandarin (1" Male) and a pretty nice looking Brain Coral. The Coral opened up after an hour and the Mandarin is already picking at the substrate. (The reason I chose a Mandarin was because I see thousands of damn copepods crawling around my tank, even one that was about a centimeter or more in length, eww!)
Pix up soon!

I HAVE A MANDARIN THAT EATS BRINE SHRIMP. GOD KNOWS WHY HE STARTED TO EAT THEM. STARVING MAYBE. I FEED THE BRINE FORMULA ONE FIRST THEN I PUT THEM IN THE TANK FOR THE FISHIES. JUST A THOUGHT TO TRY. RICKY

oi vey!! A mandarin... 6 to one half dozen the other....

Calm down, the Mandarin is only an inch long, geezus. I KNOW he needs a well established environment. The rock I have all came from established tanks. The sand came from my friends' 55g that was up for a year and a half. For god sakes, I even saw copepods the size of Ghost Shrimp. Gimme some credit.
I'm surely not on this board to waste my time sticking up for myself. Plus, twas really busy at work today, don't really need this.
Thanks :p

Not trying to flame you bubba.. but I agree with tangsfornuttin.
If you go to a respected LFS, they will have them in with all the rock for sale. Usually they have more than 100lbs..
Just a thought.. Don't get upset.. I wanted one for my 29gal. but I read up on them and they need minimum 100lbs LR..
Just because you have LR that is a few years old and LS.. doesn't mean your tank is established. It just means the stuff you have is old, and comes form an established tank.

It won't necessarily starve. Try feeding it frozen mysis. BTW since yours is small that is actually more of a problem, they have teeny mouths and he can't eat those huge pods you are talking about. I had a fat mandarin for months in my 20g (established and fed heavily) but I made the mistake of not covering an intake tube and lost a few fish including him:( .

no one knows for sure if it will starve....i say keep it awhile and try getting it to eat....if its not eating then consider taking it back.

I agree, btw it might be better to give it to another reefer rather than the lfs, if ever have problems lmk I am local and can help you out.
