For the past 6 months, my lfs has had 3 BTA's for sale on one piece of rock. The rock is probably about 8 lbs. One is A green BTA, one is a rose, and the other is white. They are huge. the green one is as big as a vollyball, and it has 2 mouths, it is splitting, the rose is as big as a softball, and the white is as big as a baseball. They appear to be super healthy, and are all touching. One blur stripe clown is hosting in all 3. He is gonna sell me all three and the rock for 250.00 which i think is a pretty good deal. I am just not so sure about the best way to acclimate them to my tank. drip them in a bucket??? that's the only way that i can. do you guys think that this will be ok??
:help: :notsure:

I personally prefer a drip method, however in this case it really doesn't have to be done. Many anemones are shipped almost with no water and are simply temp acclimated and then placed in the aquarium. You would however have to take your bucket down and make sure the rock is submerged in his water when in the bucket. Then you can drip if you choose. Up to you.
Also Prepare for the fact that once that rock is in your aquarium they will almost certainly move right away.
I question the white one, white is normally unhealthy for any of the hosting type anemones.

I don't think it is a BTA, it has been there for several months. I really don't want that one, he just can't get it out of the rock. He said they have all three been in the same holes in the rock for over a year, i really don't need the rock either. I just don't want to stress them out any more than i have to.

I am gonna put the rock they are on by its self, where it isn't touching any other rock. Do you think a bta will move down across the sand?
