That tank is SOOOO awesome. What kind of rocks do you have in their? They are awesome. Also, your flow setup is awesome as well.

Very nice tank. One question though....... Is your pvc a closed-loop circuit, or is your return line plummed into it? Hey, good job!

i dont know if i can mention the store but they are located in athens on old epps bridge road
the tank is drilled there are 8 lock lines 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. the top 4 will eventually be covered by live rock
my return line is plumbed into the pvc
i have 2 175watt blue metal halides
i have a blue background on the tank now
thanks for all the comments

Hi everyone......Just to clear up the plumbing issue eeks tank is drilled from the bottom with the bigger of the pipe in the center being the overflow that flows down to the sump and the other 4 are the returns all coming in from the bottom.so all of the plumbig is inside of the tank.......I knowthis because I live 2 doors down from him!!!!!

Will have to stop in next time I'm up there....I really like that Sailfin. Does it get along with your Yellow Tang? Did you get your LR there also?

What is the "K" rating on your bulbs (sorry, I don't know the correct term to use)? I was recently given a pair of 175W MH pendants, and I want to get new bulbs for them.

thanks friction for the help just so erverybody knows about half of the corals are frags from his tank. he is the reason i got a reef tank
tervman the name on the box for the bulbs is blueline 175watt 10k
i bought them at the store on old epps bridge rd they were around $500 but that was pendents, ballasts and bulbs. the sailfin and the yellow tang get along fine. i hade the sailfin first and then added the yellow tang about a month later, as soon as the yellow tang went in the tank the sailfin went after him hard for about 10 minutes then he started to except him now they swim together .
