I have had this set up running now for about 3 months now.. 1 partial water change done already...
My Current Inventory:
4 Mexican Turbo Snails
7 margarita Snails
1 Damsel
1 False Percula Clown
1 Royal Dottieback
1 Lawn Mower Blenny (My daughter named him Toro)
1.5 Feather Duster ( I see a small offspring on a rock)
25-30 Lbs of Rock
40 Lbs of Sand
So far everthing is going perfect with the tank, But I still feel it needs More.. More of what I do not know.. This is my first Somewhat Big tank. All the fish were from my little 10g set up so they have been with me for a while now.
Here is a little video of the set up as it is now.. I put the MTS's in last night and they decided to burry themselves (As seen in video).. Any suggestions as to the direction I should go or other tips would be great..
Thanks
Mike

What size tank is it? whats making the bubbles? Whatever it is, next project should be to get those bubbles to stop.

Hi,
Welcome t the site....
Unless you want some coral, it just needs time to get some coraline algae going. You could get some mushrooms to add a litte color splash, they spread real nice, and won't need a light upgrade to keep.

The tank is about 40 Gallons, Not sure about the bubbles, Could be the filter doing it ( I need to add some water tonight ).
As for the mushrooms, Are there any I should look for in particular?
Thanks for the info so far..

shrooms are shrooms. Get colorful ones. Better yet, post what kind of lights you have. Maybe you can do ricordea or other low light corals.

Regular mushroom corals...Green metallic are beautiful and spread great. True blues, reds green stripe metallic..ust Google mushroom coral and look at what pops up. You can't get recodia, I think they need higher lights.

As for Fish,
Any thoughts on a Yello Tang? I always wanted to put one in my tank.. Will it be fine with the other fish I have?

your tank is too small for a tang. I would take the damsel back (they get big and mean) and get a nice flasher wrasse. You could also add a firefish goby, regular or purple.

Those appear to be T5HO lights, someone confirm.
If they are, you can get better bulbs and keep just about anything in the tank. Depending on what bulbs you get will determine what you can keep. Fortunatly for you, there are lots of choices to pick from in the T5HO market.

Your tank is not large enough for a tang, but if you're looking for something yellow, you could consider a LemonPeel dwarf angelfish.
