1. Thinking of purchasing the aggressor skimmer by Red Sea. Can someone give me some feedback? Is this a good skimmer?
2. Do skimmers remove good stuff from a growing reef tank? To skim or not to skim?
3.Does a UV light kill beneficial micro organisims?

1. no clue
2.a well established reef really does not need a skimmer. Mine does not pull anything.
3. never put a uv on a reef. You want all that stuff it kills.

2. never hurts to have a skimmer
3 UV BAD!!!! It kills all the little critters that make a reef a living organism in it's own right.
uv lights are for fish only tanks, it kills the parasites that cause ICK and stuff like that
