3 stripe damsel problems

My damsel is being territorial hes been harassing my clowns but has somewhat stoped anyone have luck with damsels or are they a big pain?

Damsels are often caught just outside of the gates of HELL where they spawn....
Ok, in all fairness, they are just aggressive and territorial. Clowns are in the same family and can get the same way. There are a select few damselidae family members that make good reef inhabitants (Reef Chromis for instance).

I know clowns can be but they normally setup a nest and they protect that instead of hogging the whole tank lol

It will never get better the larger thay get the bigger the problem will get. I had a 3 stripe go after a lion about 5 inchs long and a small trigger.

I HAD A PAIR OF 3 STRIPED DAMSELS AND THEY KILLED MY CLOWNS!!

NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WENT TO THE PET SHOP AFTER THAT, ALTHOUGH I HAD TO RIP THE TANK APART TO GET THEM OUT, BUT I WAS SO MAD.
