my 3 stripe damsel s white color has turned like grayish blacl is he sick? is he hurt from one of the shrimp pinching him?

It might be a sign of stress. I don't think it's hurt because your shrimp pinched him . Check your water, and check other fishes or inverts that might cause the stress.

Did you just get the damsel? Looking at the time of your post, was this his color at night with the lights off? If so, did he go back to normal color shortly after the lights came back on?
I believe Damsels will turn colors at night as some sort of protection, i.e. blending in with the night.
If this isn't the case, you probably should leave more information for us to help, info like how long your tank has been running, what size, lr or ls, ........

I have 2 3-stripe damsels and they turn gray at night and also when stressed.

Mine do the same thing. One I call Grumpy because he is so dominant and territorial, seems to turn that gray color when stressed as well as at night. Figured he was like some people who "wear their emotions on their sleeve".
