30 gal -fish?

I have a 30 gal and it has a purple lobster in it and he has been great..he's so pretty! I was wondering about putting a fish in with him either a blue hippo or a pearlscale...if I decided to put corals in here would either of these fish be ok? anemones? I've been told that tangs are hard to keep because they do not have a slime coat and need to have this put in the water...are these guys hard to keep? I had a pearlscale once and loved her. I lost her to the heater (it malfunctioned and fried my water). :( I would like to have another but was not sure about her and the corals the other one never bothered the frogspawn I had in the other tank but I wanted an experienced persons opinion in case I just was lucky. THANKS!!
Also is their a way to search the threads so that I do not repeat ?'s that were already asked?

I am not real experienced as yet, but I do know that tangs get way too big for a 30 gal tank. They need lots of swimming room and live rock. I'm not at all familiar with a pearlscale, so I'm sure someone else will answer those questions. I believe that purple lobsters are questionable for being reef safe with corals though. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that, too.

Both of those fish get way too big for a 30g.
There is a search button along the top of the screen. I'm glad you asked that. Nobody ever does. It's very useful.

So it looks like both of those are out..thanks for helping me find the search button that works great! I would like to put a goby in the tank and get a 'flashy' fish to put in there too, are there any kinds of fish (other than clowns) that will swim out in a tank...(that's what I wanted the pearlscale for but I'd like to have the option of putting corals in the tank).

Blue or Green reef chromis are quite active, and one of the dwarf angels would be as well, though they need an established tank and are hit or miss as far as being reef safe.

Dwarf angel would be too big for a 10 as well. Maybe one of the basslets or dottybacks?
