30 gallon possibilities

I have a spare 30 gallon tank that I am thinking of converting to an aggressive tank. I have a couple of questions.
1. Could I get away with maybe either a fu-manchu lionfish or a fuzzy dwarf lion, a small puffer (valentini or hawaiian bule spot), and perhaps a snowflake eel?
2. What would you do for a cleanup crew in this type of tank? I know that you couldn't get away with shrimp for sure (any crabs???)
3. Would I need to go with LR and LS?
4. Would I need a heavy duty skimmer to help clean up their messy eating habits?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could do a dwarf lion, a V or a H puffer and a snowflake ( you've done research) and you would have to have live rock and sand
I don't think you would have to have a skimmer but a little hangon skimmer would be pretty good.

A 30 gallon is really too small to be any sort of fowlr except maybe for damsels, you could put a dwarf lion but it would take up most of the tank and be a huge bioload, snowflake eel wouldn't be good for very long at all and would need live rock to hide in, I would highly suggest live rock and sand and a really good skimmer to keep up with the waste. Fu-Manchus are hard to get eating so make sure you research care and find one already taking frozen. I would do a maroon clown, dwarf puffer, psuedochromis, maybe sixline wrasse and that's stocked heavily, IMO.

Well, from experience, I know that a 29 gallon has worked as a fowlr (perculas, coral beauty, and a sixline).
Based upon the conflicting responses, I would say that there are varying opinions on this matter. I have done some research on what I could possibly do in a tank this size (36" 30 gallon tank).
The only question that I still have is what I could do for a clean up crew with the suggested fish that I have listed above (if any).

Eek! With those fish, and especially with the puffer, you'd have to have a skimmer for sure. All of those fish are messy eaters, and would contibute to a high bioload.
I would only do a Valentini/Hawaiian Puffer and maybe
a small SFE (with appropriate skimming, of course.) This is just my "humble opinion" though

Thanks for the info...but...
could I get away with swapping the puffer for either a fu-manchu lion or a fuzzy dwarf? Ultimately, I would love to have both, but I have had a puffer in the past, but never a lion, so I would like to try one.
