30 gallon reef or FOWLR...later turning it into QT for 100 gallon reef

I was wondering if these fish would be some good fish to have for my nano reef or just a FOWLR, before i get my 100 gallon in a few months. I'm just so anxious to get started with something
2 Percula clowns
Purple Firefish goby
Royal Gramma
Maybe some coral
When i get my bigger tank, I will move all of the nano reef's fish and verts into the bigger aquarium.

I would just wait for the new tank. imo, there's no need to put some fish through the stress. on top of that, moving things into a new aquarium is a pain and not worth it for such a short period time. i'd use the time to plan out your plumbing, build your sump, and set up a qt tank.

Would it be fine to QT a fish right when the new tank starts cycling, then i can add the fish right away?

sorry for delay, i've been out of town for the holiday. that is exactly what i would do. my tanks have cycled around 2-3 weeks and i qt for 4 weeks so there are no issues.
