30 gallon stocking question

hey everybody,
I have a 30 gallon fish only with about 10lbs or so of live rock. Currently in the tank I have a small fuzzy dwarf lion(2.5" approx), a big hermit crab, 3 turbos and a decent sized CC star.
I want to add another fish. Not really sure what I want in there. A puffer was the only fish I thought of. Well any suggestions are welcome. Thanx guys

It would depend what type of puffer you got. I also have about a 30 gallon and i wanted a porcupine realy realy badly, but unfortunatly, they grow to be pretty big for our little tanks. About 7 inches. You could probably pull off a venentinie puffer. They grow to be around 4 i think. I didnt get one though because they are known as fin pickers. Ive also read a post somewhere here about a guys puffer and lionfish not getting along. So i recomend you get some more compatibility opinions before you decide and now just my size opinion

yeah. a lot of times puffers nip at lions fins so U may have a rpoblem. i think that with a Fuzzy u have a good chance of him not getting nipped at because they dont really have big long fins. It all depends on whether u want to take the risk of maybe losing yur lion. I think there isnt a Big chance but the risk is still there. If u want something similiar to yur Fuzzy i would suggest a Fu Manchu Lion or any small scorpionfish. Maybe a Snowflake eel but i am not sure how well it would do with a starfish. IMO the Fu manchus look the best. Ask Muskyhunte for a picture.

I originally wanted a SFE but I thought my tank was too small.
It doesn't have to be a puffer I just want something cool that my lion won't eat and vice versa.

a longnose hawfish would be really cool or a Fu manchu lion but if u want something more active u could get a maron clown
