30 gallon to 10 gallon?

I have a 30 gallon sw tank and was thinking it was just to big to fit in my house. I also have a 10 gallon sitting around empty. I wanted to possibly down size to the 10 gallon but was wondering what would be involved and if I could make the commitment. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Its eaier then you think. The only issue is the sand. If yous tir up your old sand you could cause a cycle. I would buy new sand. Take out most of your old LR and then do a water change on your 30. Take the old water put it in the 10 gallon. Do this a few times over a period of two weeks and the new tank should be ready to roll.
