300 Gallons/hour to much for a 10 gallon nano?

Well, as some of you know I've been having a 2x2 inch patch of red slime algea in my tank lately. So I put together a 6 inch piece of CPVC and attached a Maxijet 1200 (300 gallons/per hour) to it and shoot water in several directions.
The water is moving :). I'm just wondering if it's to much now. My toadstool doesn't seem to mind. My Xenia closed up right away but is now reopening. My star polyips haven't come back out. My clown is staying near his cave. The sand bed ... crystal clear :).
Anyone have that much water movement?

Hey...I have a 10 nano as well...i have a whisper 60 on it..at least 360 gph..and also small powerheads in the tank for circulation...i don't have much in the way of corals except some mushrooms..star polyps and some strange stuff that came on some rocks...everything seems fine..also if you have any tips on success with a nano let me know.

I'm running an emperor 400 filter + powerhead in my 10. I figure a little over 400GPH flow. Everything seems to be doing good in the tank. I've had it running for a couple of weeks now as a minireef.
