Yesterday morning i put in a small choclate chip star to feed to my newly purchased harlequin shrimp. The shrimp didnt eat him and has not come out of hiding yet but this is only day number 3. My question is i took the chip star out tonight as i dont want him eating my reef, but after taking him out i noticed my fire shrimp is dead. I have had him for about 5 months and has appeared to be healthy and eats everyday could the star be wat got him? My water is perfect besides for temp is high around 78 to 84 generally, i need to buy the intake piece for my chiller. Im worried there might be something wrong because i lost 2 bangaii cardinals about 1 and a half weeks ago. One of them died the second night the other died the third since all my corals fish and inverts seem to be thriving i wrote it off as they were both sick when i bought them, but with this shrimp now dieing i dont know.
