33gallon startup

I have recently started a 33 g long tank. My equipment consits of an over the back filter pushing 200gph. 2 small wave makers. Live rock & live sand. The Tank has been cycling for 2 weeks now I have noticed white specs floating around the water and a white film on my glass. Could these be copopods? Are they good for the tank cycle?

When you start a new tank, especialy with live rock, you can get a large variety of plants and organizmes. Some are temporary. Not much help I know. Don T.

could be but very unlikely. Copepods are not normally easily seen in a new tank because their numbers are sooooo small in the cycling period because of alot of dieoff.
